My Project

I love using LEGO Education BricQ Motion sets in my classroom because they fit in with the maker mindset and creative elements that help get students at all levels engaged and actively learning in the classroom. We have a few BricQ kits already but we need more to meet the needs of the size of our LEGO club.

The LEGO Education BricQ Motion set engages students in the exploration of physical and mathematical sciences within a sports context.

These BricQ Motion sets will help foster an understanding of forces, motion, and interactions by providing easy hands-on learning experiences without the need for any technology at all!

One additional set of LEGO Education BricQ Motion will allow us to bring more relevant math activities to our community, through our enrichment program, regular math classroom, and elementary and middle school LEGO clubs. The kit provides hands-on experiences that students need to explore STEM concepts, with a focus on mathematical applications, and will link them to real-world problems and situations.

The kit also includes standards-aligned math lessons that include engaging videos and printable worksheets to excite and inspire students. There are also lesson plans, teacher videos, and assessment rubrics that I can use to further engage my students in using LEGOs as they explore STEM concepts.
