Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I have lots of 6th grade students that are eager to learn through the use of technology. Unfortunately, most of them do not have access to computers at home. Truth be known, there is not enough computers at school. For now, I'll dream of the day when we can provide a laptop per child, especially to those in need.

However, reality should not discourage us from finding solutions. One computer can be shared. One computer can become a learning center for a small group. It can be shared to provide effective lessons, reviews, and practice. In addition, it fosters collaboration.

There's a problem through, an effective software program usually has audio. It may contain important audio that might contain crucial information on how to solve an equation in math. However, that audio can become distracting to others who are not part of the computer using group. No problem! Providing students with headphones in the form of a wireless stereo computer learning center will help both parties.

We all know that our youth is our nation's most precious natural resource. We must continue to provide each student equal access to the best education they deserve. Your help will ensure that every student will have the same opportunity to learn.
