My Students

I teach 2nd grade in a Title 1 school in Tempe, AZ. Our school is a low income school where 75% of the students are on free or reduced lunch.

The students are full of life, but some come from a challenging and uncomfortable home life.

Many students come from homes with single parents who work more than one job just to put food on the table. Your donation to our class would be greatly appreciated by these students and our school.

My Project

Many times a day my students could be using technology to further their learning and reinforce skills at different levels. With an iPad the possibilities will be endless!! Not only an students use the iPad to complete work in the class, but there are so many opportunities through the educational apps for parents to see their students work throughout the day! With the use of an iPad the students will be able to utilize them and continue their learning conversations at home! Technology is the way of the future and the 21st century learner! So we would love be to stat now! Thank you!
