My Students
We have a fun time learning to read and mastering our math facts, but nothing ends the day like playing outside. They like to run and chase each other, but they also like to play with sports equipment.
My class can be a wild bunch of kids.
Each one with their own personalities. They come from all over our community. Some have skills in areas you don't always see in the classroom. I have an equal ratio of girls to boys. Most like to play on our play structure, but I want them to learn to play together and work as a team while having a blast.
My Project
I have all these great games to play but they all require balls or other tools. So, I'm left to playing games that don't require any materials. However, with these new items, we could do so much more. Play so many other games all the while having fun. We'll have enough to play more than one game at once. They would have a blast and focus throughout the day in their lessons, just to finish early to have PE. My students need sports equipment to enrich their PE experience.
My kids will be able to take the games they learn, and apply them outside the classroom.
Maybe even at the park with their other friends and families. They'll enjoy school even more and won't be able to wait for PE.
