Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school located in a predominately Hispanic and African American neighborhood. While my students may be short on funds, they are rich in ideas and creativity. Art provides them with validation, expression, and imaginative freedom.
My Project
Having such a spacious cart with tons of storage, and organizational options will allow me to provide all my first through fifth graders with a more diverse art on a cart experience. As global conditions have changed, I will no longer be able to educate and inspire in my traditional classroom setting. Having such an amazing cart will assist me in giving my students access to a wide variety of artistic options, projects, and supplies. This amazing cart will help me maintain the standards, quality, and experience my students expect.
