My students need fairy tale books such as Folk & Fairy Tale Easy Readers: A Collection of Classic Stories That Are Just-Right for Young Learners, The Little Mermaid Step into Reading, A Horse and a Hero, etc. to aid them in their up coming Fairy Tale and Folk Tale Unit.
“If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.”
― Albert Einstein
My students all have such a beautiful and amazing imagination.
Every year, we save the fairy tale and folk tale unit for the very end. We do this because it is the students favorite unit. We want them to be able to end the year with a unit they truly love.
My Project
I've focused a lot of my projects on requesting fiction and non-fiction books. After going through my library, I realized that we don't have many fairy tale books in our library. We have mostly folk tales. While they enjoy reading folk tales, they really love fairy tales.
You will not only be helping students with their reading but also with their writing as well.
These books will also help them with their fairy tale writing unit. Reading these books will help to give them create fairy tales of their own.
