My students need a STEM kit to allow them hands-on learning that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity!
This project expired on May 22, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are full of life and excited to learn! Our class consists of a diverse group of 5 and 6 year old students who learn in many different ways. My students work hard each and every day, learning , exploring and growing their minds. For my students, school is a safe and happy place. My students love hands-on learning and any opportunity they get to create, explore, and experiment!
I teach at a Title I school where 75% of the students qualify for free and reduced price lunch.
Many of my students come from challenging backgrounds, but they show up to class each day ready to learn and explore! I love all of my students and know they can accomplish any goal they set for themselves. This project will give my students the opportunity to learn new concepts and dive into learning in a fun and engaging way!
Once upon a time...or so the fairy tales go, there was a class of kindergarten students who loved to learn and explore! My students dive into new concepts with eager minds and tons of excitement! The creativity and engagement a STEM kit would bring to my students would allow them to dig deeper into their learning. My students love to be hands-on in their learning. I believe it is important to give students that opportunity, as it provides a different approach to teaching new concepts.
STEM kits encourage students to think critically, problem-solve, work together, and create!
A fairy tale STEM kit would make learning fun and help students to grasp the information being taught in a new and exciting way. STEM also encourages thinking outside the box, which I believe to be an important skill for my little ones to learn. This kit will allow them to create, test their theories, adjust, and create some more!
