My Project

This grant will support a culminating field trip for students who participated in Reading Intervention throughout the school year. To celebrate their effort, growth, and commitment to improving their reading skills, students will walk the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge in Charleston, South Carolina. The bridge walk will represent the progress students have made and the challenges they have worked hard to overcome in reading.

We are requesting snacks, reusable water bottles, and sun visors to ensure student safety, hydration, and comfort during the walk.

This experience supports social-emotional learning by building confidence, encouraging self-reflection, and reinforcing the value of persistence and hard work.
