This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I serve about over 100 students as an academic coach my goal for this project is to provide supplies that will support my teachers during our weekly PLC meetings. Incorporating tool like pocket charts, sticky anchor chart paper, and whiteboards into the classroom can significantly enhance the learning experience for the students and adults that I work with. Pocket charts serve as visual aids that allow educators to display data in an organized manner. This allows to humanize the data to shift and move students as the grow each quarter. This visual representation helps cater to different learning sytles. Additionally, they promote interactive learning as adult learners can engage with the materials by adding and rearranging cards during data dives.

Sticky anchor charts is another valuable resource that encourage creativity and collaboration among team members.

This tool not only supports group projects and brainstorming sessions but also helps team member visualize their learning processes. By providing a space for learners to express their ideas and receive immediate feedback, sticky anchor paper promotes a sense of ownership and pride in their journey of learning.

The use of whiteboards offers a versatile platform for both PD and practice. My goal for this project include creating an engaging and interactive learning that meets the diverse needs of my teachers and students. What makes my team special is their unique background, learning styles,and perspectives, which contribute to rich conversation that contributes to a rich classroom culture that values collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking for teachers and students.

By intergrating these tools, I aim to empower and build capacity in my teachers and students to take an active role in their learning.
