My students need a Chromebook to do research, plastic pockets so that they can annotate their work, and privacy partitions to ensure that they stay focused.

My students are enthusiastic and ever ready to learn. They come to class, excited to see what we are doing, and they leave class wondering about everything beyond what we learned that day. Their zest is everlasting, and they always keep me on my toes to ensure they're doing their best!
Our theme this year is leadership, and my students and I would like to spend the remainder of our year exploring leadership in all of its' glory.
My students are always curious about what's going on in the world, how they can be a part of it, why things happen the way they happen, and always looking for a laugh. It's no secret to them that our school, and they, have not been allocated the resources that they deserve. My students see other students and other schools with a plethora of resources -- everything from athletic uniforms to hands-on learning opportunities -- and they wonder why we can't have the same. Each day in our classroom is an expedition into a scientific topic, and I know that materials and technology would help them learn and understand better.
Our classroom needs opportunities beyond our walls, and the answer is technology. Using a Chromebook as a part of stations will help my students delve into the real-world aspect of Science beyond our classroom. Using privacy partitions will ensure that my students stay focused and put their best effort forward on every assignment. Lastly, the lack of copies in our school makes it difficult for my students to show their thought process. Write and Wipe pockets will help them show their thinking and annotate test questions, informational text, and assessments, helping me better serve them.
It's heartbreaking to hear my students mention how unfair it is that they never have resources, but other schools do.
Providing them with resources like these will show them not only that they are capable and worth it, but that so many people care about them and their futures.
