My students need some kinetic movement even during seat work. These items will provide this for them.

My Students

My school district is in a low income district, so funding is low. My students are eager learners, and I have parents who are eager to help in any way they can, but financially they are unable to do so. It is exciting to see my students learn something new every day.

I have students who will benefit from the use of kinesthetic seating and movement.

The items I have requested will provide movement without disturbing other students around them. These items will give students who have a higher need to move the chance to do so while they are learning.

My Project

Students who have to move sometimes have a difficult time completing independent work at their desks. It is a researched fact that students with ADHD need to move. The use of bands, flexible seating, and chair pads provide this movement for these students.

The stools, bands, and movement cushions will provide movement for the students who have to be moving even though they are doing independent work at their desks.

These students also need visual reminders of how much time they have left to complete their work. Timers are a great tool to help students stay focused and to complete their work without errors.
