Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Next year our Visual Arts Department will be offering a new course for our students, Art and Yoga. As a certified yoga instructor I initiated the proposal for this course and it received approval. Art and Yoga is designed to support the social and emotional needs of students who are looking to bring the practice of yoga and mindfulness together with the creative arts.

These yoga mats with printed yoga poses would be the perfect way to start providing resources and materials for our students.

The hot cocoa and Kind Bars will offer some snacks to the many students who often arrive to class hungry and tired. We are in need of many basics to start this adventure and these supplies would be the perfect start.
