My Students

My students come from many backgrounds. Many are from other countries, finding their way to assimilate to a new culture and environment. Our class has students who are just learning to read and write, and students who are reading many levels above the norm. We have fun learning in an environment of understanding and discovery, at home or in school.

Students at our school need rich learning opportunities, facilitated by knowing teachers.

My Project

This project is for materials that my students will need to learn at home. I will add them to a bag of supplies that they can take home or will be delivered to their homes, one for each child. The whiteboards and markers will be used during zoom lessons, especially during phonics and math lessons. They will be able to practice their work (write a word or show their math thinking) and show it quickly on a Zoom meeting. This will allow for a better understanding of what they understand.
