When you enter my classroom, you enter a multicultural destination. The kids come from all different places around the world and are very involved with their culture. I love this about my class and try to incorporate in our learning daily. This also has its challenges. Different cultures means different languages and personalities.
With this year being very different from the rest, my goal is to teach my students how to read and make it as fun and engaging as possible.
My classroom and my students would benefit from leveled books as well as big books to teach reading strategies.
My Project
Teachers pay Teachers is a great resource that will help me target the individual needs of my students.
Different type of learners require different types of materials.
This resource has many different options.
Also, I like to make learning as colorful, engaging and fun as I can. Teachers pay teachers have excellent games and activities to help me do just that and the kids really enjoy it. There are different ideas and projects that are very useful when coming up with different lessons.
