My Students

I work in a small, local school where 90% of my student population are Native American students. They are unique, clever, and highly motivated.

I teach First Grade and have a class of eighteen this year.

We are hoping for a normal 2021-2022 school year.

My Project

Last school year, Donor's Choose funded my Osmo project. I received three Osmo educational kits to create a technology center in my classroom. Initially, I've been using iPads for this center. In order for them to work in the station, they need to be out of their protective case which I'm not comfortable with. Using the iPads at this center also takes away from my special needs students who use these in replace of their assigned Chromebook.

I'm asking for two Fire Tablets along with screen protectors to use at our Osmo center.

If you've never heard of Osmo, I highly suggest researching it. The software contains math, reading, word work, and coding games. There are many kits to choose from and I plan on purchasing more in the future.
