Old School Teaching

Help me give my students the ability to look at old school dictionaries and to practice how to use the guide words at the top.

My Project

A third grade standard is to use dictionaries and to learn how to use the guide words on the pages, but it is difficult to teach when everything is digital these days. Another standard is retiring overused words and finding synonyms and antonyms that make the student's writing show, not tell. I’m asking for donations to help my students be able to learn these skills by using “Old School” dictionaries and thesauruses. The students will learn to be able to open a real book and learn these skills.
