This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am writing to seek your support in enhancing the outdoor recreational experience for my students. Our school is dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and socially. However, we currently lack adequate sports equipment that can facilitate meaningful play during recess. With your help, we can provide the necessary sports equipment that not only promotes physical activity but also encourages socialization, teamwork, and conflict resolution among students.
Recess is a vital part of the school day, allowing children to take a break from academic pressures and engage in free play.
With your generous support, we aim to achieve the following: enhance physical activity, foster socialization skills, and cultivate inclusivity with the use of soccer balls, basketballs, volleyballs, jump ropes, and badminton equipment.
Investing in sports equipment for our students will significantly improve not just their physical health, but also their social interactions and emotional well-being. By supporting this project, you will be making a lasting impact on the lives of our children, equipping them not only with the tools to play but also with the skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.
