This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a teacher in a low income/high poverty school. Many of my students have difficult home environments. Many of their parents do not have the means to offer them a comfortable learning environment at home. I want to be able to offer them a fun, safe, and comfortable learning experience virtually and at school.
My students are great and very enthusiastic learners!
I want to keep the fire burning, especially during these difficult times, by giving myself, and my students the best opportunities to learn. With your support, this will be possible. Thank you!
My Project
Because of COVID-19 and distance learning, my students have come into my classroom with specific learning challenges. Many of them are working below grade level. Because of the extra support they will need, a high capacity copy machine to enable me to copy specific materials for specific students and groups.
A new printer would allow me to create learning materials without relying on a very inconsistent copy machine available at my school.
Also, having a printer in the classroom helps me save time and keeps me focused on my students needs.
