My goal for this project is to resupply our school snack closet for students to access healthy food options throughout the day. We are 100% free breakfast and lunch, but many of our students miss the breakfast before school, and the free lunch doesn't offer larger portions or second helpings, so many of our students do not get adequate food and nutrition during the day.
With our 95 minute periods, providing a snack break can really do wonders to boost moral, fuel their minds, and help foster positive relationships between student and teacher.
