My scholars are an amazing and insightful group of students who will become the leaders of the future. They are a microcosm of the community we live in. My students come from a wide array of backgrounds (Native American, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, African American, Hindu, Asian and Caucasian) and from diverse economic backgrounds and family groupings. They are supported by a strong, creative staff of educators and parents who believe in their ability to impact the world around them in positive and meaningful ways.
My students are eager to learn and thrive on new, innovative curriculum, which has real-world applications.
My Project
With these sets of oil pastels and watercolor pens, my third-grade students will be able to learn how to create beautiful art masterpieces using various art techniques such as shading and line design. Our wonderful art teacher will be able to inspire my scholars with creative and innovative lessons. My students will learn how to express feelings and emotions through color and design. They will learn that art is expressive and personal. My goal is for my students to be able to use various mediums to develop, refine and complete artistic work that expresses who they are as an individual.
