My students come to me as eager Kindergartner's ready to learn as many new things as they can. We are a Title One school, and one of two elementary schools in our district. We live in a small rural town and many come from diverse backgrounds. For many, this is their first experience in a school setting. That's why it's so important to make learning fun! Engaging, hands on stations will help us achieve these goals. With your help, my students will do great things!
My Project
Math and literacy stations are such an important part of our daily schedule. Students are able to apply what they have learned during whole group instruction, all while building confidence and developing language skills.
These stations will provide a variety of options to keep the students engaged at a variety of levels and abilities.
Hands on, interactive stations are what keeps my classroom running smoothly! While students are working independently or with a friend in stations, I am able to assess and work one on one or with small groups of students to ensure they have mastered the current objectives.
