My kindergarteners love school and they are ready to learn, explore, question, play, and grow everyday! I teach at a small Title I school in Illinois. Many of our students qualify for free/reduced-price lunches. Despite the setbacks and hardships a lot of these kids endure, they come to school to learn and grow. I want my students to always feel loved and have a safe, organized, and fun place to learn! I want them to love coming to school and be excited about all the things we are learning!
My Project
My students love to learn through fun and engaging center exploration and play. My classroom is set up in many different centers and areas. The children spread out all around the room and work with partners/small groups to complete fun and engaging learning activities. The activities require the use of manipulatives, game pieces, art supplies/materials, different writing utensils, etc. We need a central location to store all of our materials that is easy for the kids to grab and go to a center around the room! This storage cabinet would be perfect and would house all 30 of the centers we use on a daily basis!
