Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hard-working, well-behaved, eighth graders who have surely worked hard throughout the past three school years. They are very impressionable and this is the best time to mold them into the successful scholars of the future.

Math is important, of course, but I predominantly try to teach them about manners, hard work, organization, dedication, that you can learn from your mistakes, to help each other, that they are worth it, and ultimately, that they can do anything they put their mind and effort into.

Throughout my time with them, the majority of this group has performed better than they ever have had the ability to because of the life lessons that they have learned. They are setting goals they never believed they could achieve and surpassing them with ease.

These books will serve as a small graduation gift to encourage, inspire, and motivate them to continue working up to their potential and beyond throughout their upcoming high school years in order to ensure ultimate success and achievement. The sky is the limit!
