My Students

Do you remember what it was like when you were five and six years old and thought you could go anywhere? Opportunities to engage in our play helps us go places without ever leaving the classroom.

I teach Kindergarten in Oklahoma.

For many of the children in the classroom, it is their first full day school experience. They are learning about routines and structure. These children are social and enjoy our afternoon center time. Blocks is one of their favorite centers where they explore structure, cause and effect, and working with others.

My Project

I am requesting garages, cars, street signs, and activity cards for children to use when they work with blocks. These materials will enhance their play and encourage cooperation, taking turns, and language skills as they work with each other when using the materials.
