My class is full of 24 knowledge seeking, technology loving world changers. Our classroom community is made up of leaders from diverse socioeconomic and academic backgrounds. There is a wide range of languages and cultures among the students in my classroom. My students greatly benefit from differentiated instruction that incorporates interactive 21st century skills. My goal is to provide my students with engaging opportunities that allow them to create digital portfolios and "show their thinking" in multiple ways. With the help of digital resources, all students will be able to show their success through various hands-on experiences.
My Project
I want my students to feel empowered when they come to school and know that they are in charge of their learning. They will use these devices to create digital portfolios, create presentations via Buncee and Google Classroom, take various engaging assessments, go on QR Code scavenger hunts and more.
My class of world changers need these devices to ensure they are being given opportunities to challenge themselves in all aspects of their academic career.
They will have many opportunities during the day to use the IPads. By having this technology in our classroom, my students will be given the tools to be successful in second grade and beyond!
