My Students
I teach second grade students in a Title I school in Charlotte. These amazing students are definitely one of a kind. They are smart, talented, and eager to learn more each day. The students have a very busy day that includes logging on to Zoom, completing assignments on Canvas and juggling the home/school life in a pandemic. Through it all, my students take it all in stride and get the job done. They are awesome students who enjoy helping their fellow classmates. It is evident through their work that they enjoy school and they enjoy having fun while at school.
My Project
My students will benefit so much from having the air purifier in the classroom. The students have to wear their masks all day in the classroom and during recess. The air purifier will provide the students with clean air to breathe during the one time that they take their masks off. That time is during lunch. Normally, we would be in the cafeteria having lunch, but the students are confined to the classroom. It is my goal to give them some normalcy in a very different time. The air purifier will give the students that chance to be normal and talk to each other, while still providing security and clean air during their learning and lunch times.
