My Students

I am a new elementary school counselor for students K-2! My students are eager to learn. They are very energetic and love to discover new things! Many of the students know each other, but most of them don't. They still support and care for one another.

By being a new counselor, I want to be able to gain their trust and establish bonds.

I can provide them the opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving skills.

Through books and practicing play therapy, I believe will help me achieve that goal!

My Project

The materials will make a difference in my student's learning by contributing to their productivity and efficiency. The markers and rulers for example will be used for projects and classroom guidance activities.

Students need a chance to express their creativity and the help of a few office supplies will simply give them that chance.

The velcro dots will be used for a classroom guidance lesson on following directions. I plan to have the students make paper sandwiches and use the velcro dots to connect the sandwich ingredients. The planner and pens will be used to record my daily activities with the students and keep a schedule.
