My Project

I have recently switched districts and started new a position in 2nd Grade. Moving districts mid-year is no easy task! I would like my students to have all of the resources they need to have a successful rest of the school year! For example, when students feel “wiggly” at their seats, they can kick the chair bands to release some energy! The magnet tiles will be added as an activity that my students can use during their “soft start” in the morning. The bookshelf will be used to display read alouds that align with the curriculum being used. The self adhesive index card holders will be used to help organize literacy and numeracy centers. I will write the name of the center on an index card and slide it into one of these holders (and stick it onto a clip bin that holds materials to a specific center), my hope is that my students will be able to easily find the center that they need for the day! The table spots will be used during our small group lessons as an alternative to traditional whiteboards. Thank you so much for supporting my new classroom!
