it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A new year, a new start, a new class! Our Kindergarten classroom is a fun-filled full-day place of learning and laughter, ready to take on the Common Core State Standards head-on!
We are a full-day Kindergarten classroom, of 25 students ready to learn and impress!
We are located in a high-needs urban area, but that doesn't stop us! We even have a high population of English Language Learners, many of which just arrived in America, and that STILL doesn't stop us! Gone are the days of playing and socializing all day, now our Kindergarteners are expected to perform like any other school-aged children, and believe it or not, they continually try their best to do so!
My Project
We aspire to be a fully engaged, magical, and successful classroom each and every day! These supplies are to ensure that our classroom has no limitations to our learning! This year, we want to start off with plenty of crayons, so we can draw all about who we are and our favorite things in our primary notebooks! These notebooks are special because they aren't as intimidating as the ordinary composition notebooks. They have larger lines and a space for a picture to help explain our thoughts! Mrs. Gruffi plans on transforming these crates into small storage seats for small group work at our Kidney table! She's learned all about them on Pinterest! And don't forget about the tape and scissors! That's just another crafty way to laminate and decorate the room with student work!
Our project will help shape the start of the school year and for the rest of the year to come!
We are the class of 2026 and plan on being just as successful as each and every graduating class has been thanks to donors and caring hearts like you! Thank you!!!
