This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

There is no denying that my students are absolutely amazing. My students come to school every day eager to learn and ready to exceed my expectations. They are so much fun to be around, and I enjoy the educational adventures that take place in our classroom daily!

I teach at a Title I school in a rural section of South Carolina.

Over 90% of the students who attend this school live in poverty. Most of my students come to school needing basic school materials daily. Some are tired and lack appropriate clothing. Despite the hardships they face, my students come to school with the right attitude. They walk into our classroom ready to strive to reach his or her full potential!

My Project

My second-grade classroom is in a dated building with outdated resources. I am requesting items for my classroom to help the school year run smoothly. I am requesting a couple of Glade plugins. My classroom has a smell that is hard to get rid of. Most people believe it is because the building is old. I would like the classroom to be inviting to my students. Having these will help. We also need headphones to utilize computer-based programs in the class. The folder will help us organize the certificates they earn as they complete their individualized programs. Lastly, the prizes will be incentives for them to focus on their work.

By donating to our project, you will not only help increase the amount of time we can spend on learning, but you will also be helping make learning more engaging and fun.
