This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The new school year is only a couple of weeks away. I am looking forward to meeting my new first-grade students. I just enjoy the beginning of the year and getting to know my new students. My classroom could use some odds and ends to help fill in the gaps of missing items.

My former students loved to hula hoop, and we could use some new hoops that are round in shape.

The students also enjoy learning how to jump rope. It is great for coordination. The headphones will be used during our computer time. The school gives us ear buds and unfortunately, little ears and ear buds don't work well together. The math blocks will be added to the individual student math bags that I create. The pop-it fidgets would be added to the ones I currently have, but with these additional ones, then all my students can play at the same time. They love rolling the dice and adding or subtracting.
