Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students range from Kindergarten thru 5th grade as well as an adaptative sped classroom. My students love moving in class and are always excited about new ideas, movement activities, and games. They keep me on my toes always coming up with new ideas!

Get my students moving with props like the octabands!

Students will work in teams, building communication skills, sharing ideas, testing out ideas, and finding a way to tell a story through movement. The options for movement are endless with octabands! Students will love the restrictive nature of the octabands and the added element in their movement creations.

In addition to creative movement, the octabands can help the students stretch their bodies in preparation for proper breathing, speaking and singing. The octabands will help students develop their lung capacity and work as a visual in breathing practices. Help use reach our goal!
