My students need graphing calculators. In the courses they are in, they need to have the calculators to be able to do daily work. These calculators are very expensive and many cannot afford them.

My Students

I have students who really care about improving their lives. They come from all sorts of backgrounds. Most of them have college aspirations and have the ability to achieve them. They are all from Charleston, SC and have chosen to come to our charter school. Many of them have home situations that do not allow them to purchase expensive graphing calculators and would appreciate the gift of a classroom set to further their education. My students are so appreciative of everything that they are given and would appreciate this as well.

My Project

My students need these calculators for daily work in my class. Many of them cannot afford them and this will give them access to further their math education. They are great students who just need some extra help financially. IT calculators are resources that give students the ability to further their math education. They give the students the ability to graph functions that are not easy to be graphed without. TI calculators are the best in the business. They are the most used in education today. They will get the students ready for what they will need to. be able to do in college.
