My Students

Remember the thrill of reading and then answering trivia questions about the books you read? I want my students to be able to experience that!

I have a class of 20 eager to learn 2nd graders, soon to be 3rd graders.

They love to read and enjoy discussing what they read with others. We are a Title I school. My children are active, love to read and explore the world around them through science, literacy, math, and art.

My Project

The books that I have requested will be used by students who are participating in the Oregon Battle of the Books competition. Next year will be the first year we participate in the competition and I want to make sure that they books are readily available to the students.

These books will allow the students to start reading right away and not have to wait until the books come in at the local library.

The students will be able to use the books for as long as they want to prepare for the competition.
