Help me give my students headphones, a printer, and other basic classroom necessities so we can have an interactive, engaging, and fun English Language Arts class this year.

My Project

Noise and distractions make focusing difficult during independent time. Many of my students are auditory learners, making headphones perfect for them to use during class when rereading a text or trying to concentrate on their assignments.

My classroom itself serves as a second home for my students where we strive to provide basic classroom tools (pencils, pens, and whiteboards) to help many of my students succeed.

The focus in class shifts from "Oh I don't have access to this or I can't get the materials" to now I can learn and feel assured that my needs are being met in the classroom.

In doing so, my students feel excited to come to class and explore the different modals of traditional and digital writing. Having an extra printer in the classroom would be good back up for when the shared printer breaks down and the tech support cannot come out to repair it within a timely manner. All of the materials requested will be put to use for my students, ensuring that they can learn and engage rather than worry about sharing their financial struggles when trying to obtain school supplies.
