My students need basics such as pencil cases, chart paper, and crayons for projects, plus an easel and the Ipevo document camera is a great tool for sharing and celebrating each other's work!

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A day in the life of my ICT students involves them teaching each other and working together. There is no better feeling as a kid than getting your own piece of work showcased on the Smartboard. A document camera is the best way to celebrate each others successes!
Our students come from the projects of NYC.
Many come from broken homes where they speak very little English and don't have much to give. Most of our students' families were unable to purchase supplies this year and our school has very little resources to fund this gap. This is an ICT class and we have a lot of children with special needs. Every little thing helps and counts and we are so very grateful for any donations we get. Our school is working so hard at its full potential to have a great year and it starts with the adults. Whatever we can do for our children is meaningful and something they will remember for years to come.
My Project
We are requesting materials that are directly for our students. The document camera, Ipevo, will help to showcase our students' work and celebrate their successes with each other. Items such as crayons, an easel, and chart paper will help us make the most out of all our lessons whether it be math, reading, writing, or social studies. We are excited at the thought of wipe-off chart paper for our daily writing prompts and crayons to work on class projects.
We are so lucky to have such an amazing group of second graders in our class.
We, as teachers, want to do our very best to make their year in second grade their most successful yet. Being used to having very little, they have gracefully accepted used, old crayons and those that were able to purchase supplies, have been nothing but kind by sharing everything they have with their peers. It is my wish to be able to give them something new that they deserve.
