This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many students arrive at school hungry and unable to focus during classes. I would like to provide students with something nutritious that will help them get ready to do and feel their best. By giving them healthy, protein-rich snacks, they can learn about the importance of selecting and cooking quality nutritious food.
In this project, I have requested a variety of protein-filled snacks and soups that can be heated for students in need.
These protein snacks and soup cups will help the students be energized and stay warm throughout the school day. Every student needs to have what they need to be successful at school and food insecurity should never hold a child back.
