My students are amazing kids who face many challenges both at home and at school. My students all have various disabilities, but they don't let their disabilities hold them back.
All of my students are unique, but one thing is the same in each of them: they love to learn!
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges before even entering our school. We work together every day to overcome those challenges and reach new heights. I work with about 100 special education students every week, reaching kids with various disabilities. My students love to move, explore and play.
All of my amazing students are struggling learners. They learn best with targeted, individualized instruction- but this specialized teaching can't occur if my students aren't at school because they are sick! Students who come to school every day, learn more than students who don't. In order to come to school every day, they must be healthy.
When my students don't have access to healthy, nutritious food, and when our classroom is full of germs, my students become sick and can't come to school to learn.
Nutritious snacks will keep my students bellies full and will keep them healthy. My students have specific favorites including granola bars and applesauce that will keep them full of the nutrients they need for their brains to learn. Clorox wipes will keep our classroom surfaces clean and hand sanitizer will keep the germs off our hands. Nutritious food, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer will keep my amazing learners healthy and in school so that they can continue to learn and grow into the best they can be!
