This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our middle school students will be participating in afterschool sports this winter and spring. Many of these students lack the funds to have a nutritious snack after their activities. It is so important for these students to have something to eat.
The students are at the age where they are growing and their metabolisms are working at a higher rate.
A donation to this project will offer these students an opportunity to have a snack before they go home for dinner. It would also provide energy before and after the activity.
