Help me give my students the science experiences that will spark and nurture their curiosity for STEAM paths and the joys that come with hands-on learning.
The thing I love most about my students is their curiosity. They love to ask questions and work through problems hands-on together. My students also are so willing to help each other when they see someone else is struggling or stuck on a problem. They also love to create and put their ideas down on paper or into some material form.
My Project
The past two years have taken away science learning for our students. I want my students to experience and enjoy science again. They love STEAM and have lots of curiosity to problem solve and work hands-on. They have a huge desire to work through their ideas and they want to create! With these materials like blocks and clay, my students could truly work through the 5E learning cycle of engaging, exploring, explaining, elaborating, and evaluating and have successful and meaningful learning experiences. They also could strengthen their social and collaborative skills that took a hit because of Covid.
