This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are experiencing variations of stressful and unhealthy life styles none through a fault of their own. Lacking in parental support and often times inclusive of overwhelming crisis in their lives, development of good self-esteem has not been fostered. Building homes that they hope to live in will give them hope.

Creativity and guidance to promote self-love and awareness are the emphasis of this lesson.

Many of our students are lacking in healthy childhood development. Legos provide a medium for them design and plan their future homes. Providing them the outlet to explore and create will release them back into the world of imagination and spark creative outlets in their lives.
