My Project
In our diverse classroom, many students face challenges that can lead to strong emotions.
To support their social-emotional well-being, we are creating a dedicated "Calm Corner" equipped with essential resources designed to help them manage their feelings and develop effective coping strategies.
This project seeks funding for a variety of items, including healthy snacks to provide comfort and nourishment during stressful moments, an iPad to access calming apps and mindfulness activities, headphones for a peaceful listening experience, and theraputty to aid in sensory regulation and stress relief.
By providing these resources, we aim to create a safe space where students can take a break, refocus, and learn valuable skills to navigate their emotions.
