My Project
This project is designed to provide our preschoolers with art supplies for teacher led art projects and self exploration in our art center. Through this project, we will provide our preschoolers an opportunity to express themselves visually, with different art supplies (paint, gel crayons, markers, puff shapes etc). Using art to provide our an outlet for feelings and expression has been a long practice.
Not only does it provide an opportunity to awaken a child’s imagination and creativity, it bring a sense of calm to the body and positively impact mindset, interpretation of surroundings and emotional state.
Art can enhance social development by providing support without judgement from. Art is also a safe space to express negative feelings and gives us an opportunity to practice language and work through these emotions. The supplies from this project will support out students social and emotional development and well being. We will be creating art with teacher guidance as well as provide students to discover and explore in our classroom art center.
