Help me give my students a classroom filled with fun, creative items such as boxes of story writing prompts, a microphone, new books about writing, headphones to listen to learning videos, and a classroom mailbox for encouraging communications!
My students have been impacted emotionally and socially by the COVID-19 pandemic. They would benefit from expressing themselves through more creative writing projects.
The students would benefit from these resources through the creation of stories, expression through writing, connection through the creation of podcasts or vidcasts, the joy of receiving a special letter (from a bright red mailbox) and much more!
Additionally, they enjoy creating podcast/vidcast talk shows while discussing varying readings which helps them connect with one another and more closely experience our classroom texts.
These items are going to change the writing experience of my students from good to great!
