The new comfort and hygiene supplies have already made a noticeable difference in the way my students move through their day. We've been using the materials during our morning routines, during group work, and even during independent reading time. One moment that stands out happened during our first week with the new supplies—students immediately noticed the fresh, organized space and several said, \"It feels like a brand-new classroom!\" Their excitement was genuine, and it set such a positive tone for our learning community.\r\n\r\nYour support did more than provide physical items; it gave my students a sense of pride in their environment. Many of them commented on how much easier it is to focus now that they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. A few students even asked if they could help take turns keeping our hygiene station stocked—something they've taken on with enthusiasm.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're continuing our unit on personal responsibility and community care. These new resources allow students to practice routines that build lifelong habits—like keeping shared spaces clean, taking care of themselves, and showing respect for others. Your gift isn't just being used daily; it's helping us build a culture where students feel valued and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our classroom and supporting our students. Your kindness has made a lasting impact.","fullyFundedDate":1762266410986,"projectUrl":"project/comfort-cleanliness-for-every-student/9843855/","projectTitle":"Comfort & Cleanliness for Every Student","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Unayan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8911455"},{"teacherId":8911455,"projectId":9806511,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our project, \"Math Resources: Tools to Help Students Think, Explore, and Learn.\" Because of your generosity, our classroom now has hands-on math tools that are helping students build confidence, think critically, and truly enjoy learning.\r\n\r\nThe excitement was immediate — when the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up. Many of them couldn't wait to dive in and start exploring. One of my favorite moments so far was during a group activity on fractions: students were using manipulatives to build and compare fractions, and I heard one say, \"Oh! Now I finally get it!\" That kind of breakthrough is exactly what these resources make possible.\r\n\r\nWe've already used the new supplies in small-group lessons, math centers, and problem-solving challenges. Students who once struggled are now eager to participate and collaborate with their peers. These tools have given them the confidence to take risks and talk through their mathematical thinking — and that has made a huge difference in our classroom community.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be using the resources to support our upcoming unit on geometry and measurement. Students will continue working on hands-on projects where they build, model, and explore real-world math concepts. Thanks to your support, learning math now feels more like discovery and less like work — and my students are thriving because of it.\r\n\r\nWe are truly grateful for your generosity and belief in our classroom. My students were so completely engaged in reading \"Gabi, a Girl in Pieces\". They were exposed to serious and relevant subject matters that they don't always get to discuss in school. They conversations regarding the book were lively and spirited, but always respectful of others' experiences and points of view. \r\n\r\nAs a final project, students were given the opportunity to create a Zine (like the main character in the novel) or create a One-Pager demonstrating their understanding and takeaways from the novel. The end results was phenomenal! My students poured their hearts and souls into these projects and created some incredible works of art. Our final activity with the book was to participate in a Socratic Seminar, in which students take the initiative to hold a discussion about the book and its topics.
