This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Bringing noise-canceling headphones, calming strips, and fidget balls into our classroom can make a big difference in how my students feel. Noise-canceling headphones help by allowing students to focus by blocking out noisy distractions. Calming strips provide a comforting touch experience, which can help students who feel overwhelmed or upset. Fidget balls give students something to do with their restless energy, helping them stay calm and focused. These tools create a more peaceful and supportive classroom where students can manage their emotions better and feel more relaxed

When we use these tools in our classroom, it helps students learn better and makes the environment more suitable for them to understand and use what we teach.

My students are truly special and deserving of these resources because they each bring unique needs and qualities to our classroom. By recognizing and addressing these needs, we can provide them with the best possible learning environment. Whether they face challenges with sensory sensitivities, concentration, or emotional well-being, I dedicated to meeting these needs to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to thrive
