My Project

Children love nonfiction, and I am on a mission to cultivate a love for learning through the exploration of nonfiction literature. With your support, I aim to create an inviting space in my classroom that will catch the attention of students and invite them to read about the world.

Nonfiction literature opens doors to endless possibilities for discovery and understanding.

For young learners, it offers a unique opportunity to engage with the world around them, fostering critical thinking skills, empathy, and a deeper appreciation for diverse perspectives. By immersing themselves in nonfiction texts, students can embark on exciting journeys of exploration, sparking their curiosity and igniting a lifelong passion for learning.

Your generous support will enable me to create a nonfiction oasis in our classroom, where every child can immerse themselves in the joy of discovery. Your donation will purchase a diverse selection of high-quality nonfiction picture books, including NCTE Orbis Pictus Award winners, and create a welcoming space where our students can explore, learn, and grow.
