Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In this project, students will paint planters with various designs of their creation. Students will design and decorate the planters with acrylic paints/markers. The designs will be inspired by positive images and quotes.

The purpose of this project is to help nurture my students in becoming COMPASSIONATE citizens of society toward others.

Students will also improve their communication skills through teamwork. This project will help promote kindness to others, specifically senior citizens.

Final products (painted planters) with flowers or a succulent will be donated to forgotten elderly patients in convalescent nursing homes.
