My Project

While academics are very important, there are times students may struggle to focus due to being hungry, unheard or unseen. I want my students to know that I see them, hear them and care about them beyond their grades.

I want to make my room a safe space for all my students and let them know that in their English class, they have a home.

I know sometimes people think 12th graders don’t need much, but I believe the opposite. Life gets hard no matter what grade or age you are. I want to do my part in their lives and I need your help! I want to create a classroom care closet with pencils and supplies, snacks, tissues and hygiene items, socks and stickers for my students to grab and go when they need these things.
