My students learn best with the use of manipulatives. Their ages range between 6-7 years old. They enjoy manipulating resources and reading for information. They possess different learning styles, but standing out among them is the need to touch and move to learn.
My Project
These resources will be used at school face to face and also virtual if needed. They will address both literacy and numeracy. Students will be able to construct different types of sentences with ease after much practice. With knowledge of sight words, students will not only be able to read effectively and comprehend, but also be able to write effectively. This resource will also help close the vocabulary gap. In addition, the calendar pocket chart will help students learn numbers, sequencing among other Math skills that are needed for first grade.
